The Concert Highlights are taken from two star-studded global broadcasts, the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute in 1988 and International Tribute for a free South Africa in 1990, both of which were broadcast in 100 countries and reached over 500 million people. These were the only two times in history that the worlds broadcasters have come together for a political cause.
